As a Non‑Registered Neurodiagnostic Technologist, you will become an important member of the Neurophysiology team and receive training to safely perform routine EEG studies while providing compassionate, patient‑ and family‑centred care.
You will:
Learn to perform routine Electroencephalography (EEG) procedures
Obtain relevant neurological and clinical histories
Educate patients and families about procedures
Prepare and support children throughout testing
Operate specialized neurodiagnostic equipment
Produce detailed technical reports
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
Assist with equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
Participate in educational activities designed to support CBRET certification and professional growth

Essential Qualifications
Graduate of a CBRET‑recognized Neurophysiology program
Working toward eligibility to write Part 1 and/or Part 2 of the CBRET examinations
Willingness to obtain CBRET registration within two years of hire
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational and critical thinking abilities
Ability to work effectively in a energetic clinical environment
Demonstrated commitment and actions in advancing equity, diversity and inclusion objectives
Preferred Qualifications
Membership with CAET (or willingness to obtain within 6 months)
Current BCLS certification (or willingness to obtain within 6 months)
