Support Black students' success as an Itinerant Graduation Coach at Simcoe County District School Board. This temporary role focuses on academic, emotional, and cultural support to ensure graduation.

The Simcoe County District School Board seeks a Graduation Coach to assist Black students across the district. This position offers a unique chance to provide culturally responsive support to help students achieve credits and transition successfully into post-secondary pathways. You will work closely with community agencies to enhance the educational experience of Black students and address systemic barriers affecting their success.

Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with staff and families to identify barriers
• Develop long-term plans for student success




• Track student progress and program effectiveness
• Build community partnerships to enhance support services
• Foster a nurturing environment for Black students

Requirements:
• Degree in Humanities, Social Services, or similar
• Five years of experience supporting Black youth
• Advanced knowledge of systemic barriers
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation

Empower Black students through mentorship and advocacy in the Simcoe County area.
