Position: TeacherContract Type: 1.00 FTE; Probationary ContractDuration: August 25, 2026 – June 30, 2027Assignment: Grade 7 ELA & Social StudiesLocation: Brooks Junior High SchoolApplication Closing Date: Applications will be accepted until the positions are filled.About the PositionWe are seeking applications for a full‑time probationary Grade 7 ELA & Social Studies teaching position at Brooks Junior High School (BJHS). The contract starts on August 25, 2026 and ends on June 30, 2027.About Brooks Junior High SchoolBJHS offers a wide option program including fine arts, construction and foods. It also runs many extracurricular programs and sports teams for students who wish to participate in organized events. Applies to teachers on probationary contracts and interim/temporary contracts for five or more consecutive months.Red Deer and north of Red Deer – actual cost up to $1,500.South of Red Deer, excluding a 110 km radius around Brooks – actual cost up to $1,000.Other provinces or countries – actual cost up to $2,000.Benefits100% of benefit premiums paid (Extended Health, Dental, Vision, Extended Disability, Life, AD&D).Health Spending Account for contracts of at least 5 consecutive months.Paid Sick Leave: 20 days in the first year, 90 days thereafter.Family Medical Leave:
