We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Shipping and Receiving Clerk. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient and accurate shipping and receiving of parts and products.
Responsibilities of this role are as follows:
· Offload and load parts and products from trucks and containers using a forklift and/or a crane
· Verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments and ensure that they meet the required specifications
· Create packing slips and labels for outgoing shipments
· Coordinate and schedule pickups and deliveries with shipping companies
· Keep the shipping and receiving area clean and organized
· Follow safety procedures and protocols at all times
Requirements for this role are as follows:
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Previous experience in a shipping and receiving role preferred
· Familiarity with using a forklift and crane to move heavy objects
· Ability to read and interpret packing slips and shipping documents
· Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
· Good communication and organizational skills
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
