Farmers’ Market), we keep the kitchen compact, efficient, and usually run by two cooks per shift. We aim for consistent comfort food served fast—burgers, handhelds, apps, salads—and the occasional assist for hotel breakfast or small banquets.

What We’re Looking For

Reliable, self-motivated doers who thrive in a small kitchen, stay productive during both rushes and lulls, communicate clearly with the bar/front desk, and keep a spotless station. If you see what needs doing and just do it, we want to hear from you.

Requirements:

- Weekend availability; part-time shifts may be scheduled anytime between 4:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m.
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to ~20 kg (44 lb).
- Basic knife skills; comfort with flat-top, fryer, oven/combi.
- Strong communication, punctuality,



and a guest-focused attitude.
- Reliable transportation to/from work.

Responsibilities
- Cook to order: Prepare and plate menu items quickly and consistently to spec.
- Station setup/close: Open/close the line; follow checklists; keep BOH guest-ready.
- Prep & rotation: Follow prep lists; label/date (FIFO)
- Food safety/HACCP: Hold/cook/cool to required temps
- Clean as you go: Maintain a tidy line
- Dishes: Keep up with dishes as they come in
- Teamwork & comms: Coordinate ticket timing with Front Desk/Bar; flag low stock, equipment issues, or delays early.
- Cost awareness: Follow portioning standards; minimize waste.
- Flex support: On some shifts, support breakfast or small banquet setups.
