A Sales Associate to join our premier sales team. We are looking for individuals who will assist and guide our clients in selecting the best possible lighting for their desired space. This is a 6-month contract position, with the potential to extend.
The Sales Associate will have:
- Passion to deliver a high customer experience
- Retail home decor experience, lighting sales experience is an asset
- Sales and Customer Service Experience
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- A professional attitude and appearance
- Genuine enthusiasm and energy for people and sales
- Motivation to achieve goals
- Confident knowledge of computer systems and technology (ie. Microsoft Office, Point of Sale, etc.)
- The ability to work Saturdays
- Achieved an Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equalivient
- Must be legally able to work in Canada
Some of your duties will include:
- Walking the showroom and engaging clients to identify their needs
- Providing information and quick follow up to questions with the goal of closing sales
- Process sale transactions by creating estimates, sales orders, and invoices for customers
- Develop a network of clients and foster relationships for repeat business
- Stay current with trends and product knowledge
- Maintain a high level of showroom maintenance
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 20.0 per week
