Craigleith Ski Club is a private, member-run ski club located in the heart of the Blue Mountains. Lift Operators are a key part of the Craigleith experience. You’ll work outdoors in a fast-paced environment, ensuring our members and guests enjoy a safe, smooth, and welcoming day on the slopes.

Position Summary

As a Ski Lift Operator, you are responsible for the safe operation of ski lifts while delivering friendly, attentive service. You will work closely with the Operations team to maintain secure loading and unloading areas and respond effectively to changing weather and guest needs.

Key Responsibilities

- Safely operate ski lifts in accordance with all safety regulations, policies, and procedures
- Provide courteous, helpful service to members and guests, including assisting with loading and unloading
- Monitor and manage lift lines to ensure smooth and efficient flow
- Complete daily start-up checks, operational logs, and required documentation
- Perform snow clearing and maintenance of load and unload areas (shoveling, raking, ramp upkeep)




- Identify, report, and respond to safety hazards
- Assist with emergency procedures and lift evacuations when required
- Maintain clean, organized lift huts and surrounding work areas

What We’re Looking For

- Strong customer service and communication skills
- A safety-first mindset and ability to follow clear direction
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Comfortable working outdoors in all winter weather conditions
- Physically able to stand for extended periods, shovel snow, and lift up to 50 lbs
- Previous ski industry or outdoor work experience is an asset, but not required

Schedule & Season

- Full-time schedule: Wednesday to Sunday, approximately 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- Shifts may include weekends and holidays
- Season: Approximately December to mid-April (weather dependent)

- Pay: From $21.00 per hour
