Who are we looking for?
We’re looking for someone that wants the opportunity to build a career in the Passenger Ropeway Industry. We’re looking for electro-mechanically inclined individuals that are problem solvers and can work both independently and with a team.
Responsibilities
As an Electro-Mechanical Technician for Doppelmayr Niagara Falls , you’ll play a key role, safely and reliably Maintaining equipment while supporting operations at the Falls Incline Railway and the Whirlpool Aerocar.
Duties Will include:
Performing and documenting daily, weekly, monthly, maintenance inspections
Troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues
Systems start-up, shutdown, and operational support
Support Annual maintenance projects, inspections, and upgrades
Your profile
Requirements
Valid driver’s license
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Comfortable working at heights
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Willingness to work weekends, holidays, shifts, and overtime Strong communication and teamwork skills
Commitment to safety and professionalism
3 - 5 years’ experience in the Mechanical and/or Electro-mechanical field desired
Maintaining maintenance records using CLAIR, Doppelmayr’s Maintenance Management system
A Ski Lift Mechanic Class B License (SLM-B), equivalent certification, or are working toward one Passenger ropeway experience
Strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills
Experience with electrical systems, PLC’s, hydraulics, heavy equipment, industrial maintenance, millwright work, or related trades
Software & Firmware Handling – Ability to load, configure and verify software on integrated hardware systems
Good understanding of PLC, relay logic control systems, AC and DC power equipment’s
Ability and willingness to learn proprietary electrical drawing software
Ability to read electrical schematics and understand Mechanical and Hydraulic Schematics Additional
