As a Technical Specialist, Project Management, you’ll support the delivery of a wide range of routine to moderately complex infrastructure projects. While growing your career in a team-oriented and knowledge sharing environment, you will serve as a trusted technical advisor to our Client-Partner, conduct research and assessments, and help drive projects that make a real impact.

What You’ll Do
Lead Projects That Matter
You’ll manage a diverse portfolio of infrastructure and environmental projects—from new builds to unground utility upgrades to remediation initiatives. You’ll support each project from the first conversation to the final handover.
Be the Connector
Clients will look to you for insight, direction, and solutions. You’ll prepare project documentation, develop business cases, support approvals,
and ensure everyone has what they need to make informed decisions by coordinating communications and facilitate timely decisions among stakeholders.
Connect People & Propel Progress
You’ll coordinate consultants, stakeholder input, help drive procurement, and keep communication flowing. When challenges arise, you’ll find creative, effective ways to keep things on track, while building strong relationships with Client-Partners, industry professionals, and internal teams.
Champion Quality & Collaboration
You’ll maintain high standards, build strong working relationships, and represent the Client-Partner when required.
Additional Responsibilities
Prepare monthly internal and Client-Partner reports.
Manage risk across assigned projects.
Support or lead business development activities.
Perform other duties as required.
Working Environment
Primarily office based with occasional travel.
Some work takes place on construction sites (basic PPE may be required).
What You’ll Bring
Education & Experience
Minimum : College diploma in engineering, architecture, or a related field and 4 years of relevant experience (or equivalent).
Preferred : University degree in a related field and/or additional project management training.
Knowledge & Expertise and Abilities
Solid understanding of real property, environmental, and construction industry best practices, legislation, and trends.
Strong project and risk management knowledge and proficiency with project management tools, software, and operating systems.
Ability to apply project and risk management techniques effectively.
Talent for collaboration and problem solving.

About 17 Wing Detachment Dundurn
17 Wing Detachment Dundurn is a long established Canadian Armed Forces installation that supports National Defence activities, including training and logistics functions. The site operates as a Detachment of 17 Wing Winnipeg and remains an active and strategically important facility within the Department of National Defence.
