Primary Function: Tomaintain the highest standards of cleanliness in guest rooms and public areas,ensuring all guest requests are handled promptly and courteously. TheHousekeeping Supervisor acts as a key liaison between housekeeping staff,management, and guests, fostering excellent communication and teamwork.
Duties & Responsibilities: 1. RoomManagement Collect and manage dailychecklists of rooms to be inspected




Regularly inspect rooms to upholdand enhance quality standards
Utilize Opera PMS for efficientroom status updates and lost & found tracking
Prioritize room inspections:Check-ins and Check-out/Check-ins first, then Stays and Sheet Changes, lastlyCheckouts
Change room status using in-roomphone systems
2. TeamLeadership Provide daily direction, taskprioritization, and motivation to housekeeping team
Train staff on cleaningprocedures, amenities, supplies, and safety protocols
Model exemplary grooming, uniformcompliance, and guest engagement
Assist in conflict resolutionamong team members when necessary
3. OperationalManagement Manage linen inventory, ensuringproper storage and distribution
Track room status and attend tomaintenance requests promptly
Maintain organization ofhousekeeping office and storage areas
Assist Housekeeping Manager andAssistant Housekeeping Manager with daily projects, during peak periods, and inemergency situations
Coordinate with Housemen and FrontDesk
4. GuestService Respond promptly and courteouslyto all guest requests and concerns
Ensure VIP rooms receive specialattention and meet all specific requirements
5. Complianceand Safety Adhere to and enforce all health,safety, and sanitation procedures
Ensure proper handling and storageof cleaning chemicals and equipment




Conduct regular safety checks inguest rooms and staff areas
6. Flexibilityand Cross-Training Be flexible to work AM, PM asrequired
Crosstrain in all housekeepingdepartments (Room Attendant, Houseperson, Woodsmen, Night Cleaner, etc.)
Assist room attendants with makingbeds and cleaning during peak times or staff shortages
Skills & Experience: Minimum 2 yearsof experience in hotel housekeeping
Goodcommunication skills in English; additional languages are an asset
Detail-orientedwith a keen eye for cleanliness and organization
Physical staminato perform tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
Flexibility towork varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
Knowledge ofcleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety protocols
Ability to workunder pressure
Basic computerskills for reporting and communication purposes
