ROLE &RESPONSIBILITIES;: Workattentively in maintaining, repairing, and servicing customer vehicles toensure safety and customer satisfaction as well as overall departmentsuccess;
Performvehicle maintenance and repairs;
Diagnosethe source of any malfunctions and perform required repairs;
Examinevehicles to determine if additional safety or service work is required;
Providewritten, prioritized quotes for necessary additional work;
Explainprocedures and repairs directly to the Service Advisor;
Performroad tests and safety inspections;
Maintainthe cleanliness of personal and team workspaces;
Completetechnical training as per Toyota standards.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: Valid310S Automotive Service Technician licence; Red Seal certification isconsidered an asset.
ToyotaTechnician experience is preferred;
Avalid G class license with a clean driver's abstract;
Theability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures andspecifications;
Theability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment;
Theability to work individually and as part of a team;
Haveup-to-date knowledge of automotive parts and their functions;
Theability to effectively communicate automotive issues clearly;
Possessa high level of integrity and work ethic.
