This role sits at the intersection of data, inventory, and execution, ensuring product is accurately set up, well-balanced, and flowing to the right stores at the right time to drive profitable sales.You’ll own purchase order maintenance, item data12-month contract accuracy, and inventory allocation across the network, while providing insight through reporting and analysis. If you enjoy working with detail, partnering cross-functionally,
and using data to influence outcomes, this is a role where your work will be felt daily.Supporting the Buyer with day-to-day merchandising and category initiativesMaintaining and tracking purchase orders, including updates, closures, cancellations, and bulk POsManaging accurate item setup and ongoing SKU maintenance across multiple systems and web assortmentsExecuting markdowns and system updates with appropriate approvalsBuilding and maintaining reports, including size curve, sales, margin, and inventory analysisManaging inventory replenishment, allocation, and forecasting for core SKUs across all storesAllocating inventory to support promotions and seasonal requirements, ensuring stores are in-stock to meet demandAnalysing SKU- and store-level performance to balance sales, inventory productivity, and Open to BuyPartnering with vendors to confirm inventory availability, manage shipments, and track deliveriesWorking closely with Store Operations to provide timely updates, resolve issues, and support executionSupporting assortment planning by door/network through analysis and reportingEnsuring daily, weekly, monthly,
and quarterly merchandising checklists are completed and reviewedWhat You’ll Bring; Post-secondary education(University preferred) with a focus on retail, marketing or finance3-5 years’ work experience in retail planning, buying or merchandisingExperience in data entry and data management with high level of accuracyAbility to process information/merchandise through order entry systems (Mircosoft Dynamics 365/D365)Be customer centric; listening, understanding and responding to customer needs while being committed to the customer first philosophy; this applies to both internal and external customersProven analytical and problem-solving abilitiesDetailed orientated with a sense of urgency to follow-upExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to multi-task and easily adapt to current business trends; ability to work in a fast-paced, team environmentAI is used as part of our application review process to assist in screening and assessment.
