As a Strategic Sourcing Specialist at Honeywell you will establish and drive procurement of materials and services in alignment with business leadership for your assigned category and/or site. You will be responsible for driving competitive supply strategies to achieve lowest total cost, reduce working capital via negotiation planning and execution, source new vendors, value engineer and eliminate sole/single source. You will manage supplier performance to support your commodity/category and ensure supply continuity while managing several projects in a dynamic environment and ensuring compliance with company policies and export/import regulations.ResponsibilitiesLead formal negotiations (price, schedule, supplier exceptions to contractual flow down requirements).Prepare and issue RFQs to suppliers and follow up to assure understanding.Review quotes, analyze results and determine negotiation plans/strategies and address any exceptions to flow downs, specifications,



quality notes or Honeywell terms and conditions requirements.Expedite orders when required to ensure on‑time shipments.Understand processes and ensure adherence to the same.Deploy a systematic approach to work and perform work functions in a timely and well‑organized manner with limited oversight.Adapt to constantly changing work assignments, consistently make timely decisions while balancing conflicting goals in an ambiguous setting.Convey subtle or complex messages to a variety of audiences, both written and verbal.Expert knowledge of Aerospace components.QualificationsDiploma in Materials Management or Technical Certificate.Minimum 2 years in Procurement, Supply Chain or Operations.Minimum 2 years of experience with SAP or relevant ERP systems, e‑Sourcing platforms, RFQ tools, project management tools.2+ years experience in Aerospace procurement or related field.Working and/or leading in site team environments.Project Management and/or Contract Management experience.Professional certifications in Project, Supply Chain, Procurement or Contract Management.Experience in Supply Management/Sourcing/Procurement/Business.Demonstrated business and financial acumen.Experience with Six Sigma and Lean tools.SalaryThe annual base salary range for this position is $70,100 to $93,400 in Cambridge, Ontario.LocationCambridge, Ontario – On‑site.EEO StatementAccommodation is available upon request for applicants with disabilities under the Ontario Human Rights Code.#J-18808-Ljbffr
