Become a Casual Recovery Coach at Beccarian Correctional Care in Calgary. Participate in evidence-based care and support individuals during evenings and weekends in a therapeutic workplace.

We're looking for a dedicated Recovery Coach to work within our Therapeutic Living Units in Calgary. This casual role involves fostering recovery through engagement in group sessions, recreational activities, and community responsibilities. You will play a vital part in motivating members and implementing peer-based support strategies while emphasizing lasting recovery.

Key Responsibilities: • Provide ongoing support and encouragement during evening hours • Facilitate and attend therapy sessions and recreational programming • Lead recovery meetings such as AA, NA,



and SMART Recovery • Monitor members' progress and report to TLU Lead • Assist staff in crisis management to ensure community safety

Requirements: • Experience in caregiving or support, preferably in mental health • Strong communication skills to interact with diverse individuals • Understanding of substance use disorders and mental health challenges • Demonstrated empathy in managing sensitive situations • Lived experience with addiction recovery is an asset
