About the RoleThis is an intensive, 100% remote 4-month Software Engineering Co-op / Intern position. You will work directly alongside the technical founder and core R&D; team in a high-velocity, builder-first setting. If you want to skip corporate bureaucracy, learn how to architect modern web applications from scratch, and build production-grade AI tools that solve real-world climate and grid optimization challenges, this is your sandbox.

What You’ll Build & Own

- Frontend UI Architecture: Crafting high-performance, component-driven interfaces (Bento grids, glassmorphism layouts, and modular window management) for our core web application platform.
- AI Agent Orchestration: Building conversational wrappers, tool-use loops, and API data pipelines for our autonomous energy management agents.
- Microservice Calculators: Developing clean, sandboxed calculation modules (JavaScript/Python) for thermodynamic regression and financial dispatch models.
- System Optimization: Writing clean, testable code,



optimizing application speed, and leveraging modern AI-assisted development workflows (Cursor, Claude, API integrations).

What We’re Looking For

- The Builder Mindset: Currently enrolled in (or recently completed) a degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Technical Stack: Strong foundational command of modern JavaScript/TypeScript, frontend UI patterns, and clean component-driven design. Familiarity with Python, REST APIs, and data-driven web services.
- AI Fluency: Genuine excitement for AI-assisted coding and agentic workflows—you live in tools like Cursor and Claude to maximize your output.
- Autonomy & Speed: A self-driven work ethic with a passion for clean code, exceptional user experience, and shipping real software quick.
