Casual Position – No Guaranteed Hours

This is an on-call position with shifts primarily scheduled on weekends and evenings, based on event requirements.

Position Overview

We are seeking energetic, reliable, and professional Special Event Servers to assist with banquets, community functions, and private events. Successful candidates will help ensure events run smoothly by supporting room setup, buffet service, guest service, clearing tables, and event teardown.

Key Responsibilities

 Assist with room setup, including tables, chairs, linens, and décor

 Assist with buffet setup and food service

 Clear tables and maintain a clean and organized event space

 Provide professional, friendly, and efficient service to guests

 Assist with room tear down and post-event cleanup

 Follow workplace health, safety,



and service procedures

 Work collaboratively with the event and service team

Qualifications

 Previous serving, banquet, or special event experience is preferred

 Valid ProServe certification (asset)

 Strong customer service and communication skills

 Ability to work effectively as part of a team

 Ability to lift and move tables, chairs, and event equipment

 Reliable and flexible availability for on-call shifts, primarily evenings and weekends

Pay: $17.00-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3.0 – 20.0 per week
