Pixel Place Photography is a commercial and portrait studio based in Camrose. We are hiring two freelance photographers for a three day assignment in early December.
You will be working independently for extended periods, covering an assigned area while other photographers cover theirs. The work involves rapid moving subjects in a low light indoor environment, at high volume. This is demanding shooting and we are looking for people who have done something like it before.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
Photograph fast moving subjects in low light conditions for extended periods
Work independently within an assigned area
Maintain consistent framing, exposure and focus across a high volume of images
Manage memory cards and on site backup according to our procedures
Follow direction on shot priorities and coverage
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Demonstrated experience photographing sports or fast action in low light
Confident working at high ISO with continuous autofocus and fast shutter speeds
Experience with Sony mirrorless bodies preferred
Able to work independently and stay focused across a long shooting day
Reliable and punctual A current police information check including vulnerable sector screening is required before the assignment. Please allow time for this if you do not already have one, as processing can take several weeks in Alberta.
WHAT WE PROVIDE
All equipment, including camera bodies, telephoto lenses and memory cards. You do not need to bring your own gear.
Clear direction and a defined coverage plan before the day.
Payment within 14 days of the assignment.
