Become an Emergency Physician at Squamish General Hospital, part of Vancouver Coastal Health. This full-time role encompasses various shifts and promotes advancement in a team-oriented medical space. You will play a vital role at the Squamish Emergency Department, addressing around 20,000 patient visits annually.

The position requires not only acute care provision but also covers inpatient units and long-term care services. A focus on continuous improvement and teamwork is essential in meeting the healthcare demands of a growing rural community. Key Responsibilities:

- Attend to emergencies in a fast-paced, 13-bed facility
- Work effectively alongside physicians and healthcare teams
- Handle a mixed schedule of night, weekend, and day shifts




- Provide urgent care support for hospital inpatients
- Engage in ongoing professional development and training Requirements:
- Must have full licensure with the CPSBC and CCFP
- Experience or training in Emergency Medicine necessary
- ACLS certification is mandatory; ATLS preferred
- Local residency preferred for urgent calls
- Five or more years’ experience in rural settings favored Deliver exceptional emergency medical care while developing professionally at Vancouver Coastal Health in Squamish.
