Our team is committed to safety, integrity, and excellence in every project we undertake. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Steel Stud Framer to join our growing team.

As a Steel Stud Framer, you will be responsible for constructing and installing structural and non-structural steel stud framing for residential and commercial construction projects. You will work closely with the construction team to ensure accurate installation, structural integrity, and quality workmanship. If you have experience with steel stud framing and take pride in delivering high-quality work, this is a great opportunity to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

● Frame walls, partitions, bulkheads, ceilings, and other structures using steel studs and track according to blueprints and specifications.

● Measure, layout, cut, and install steel studs and track to precise dimensions.

● Assemble and install metal framing components using appropriate tools and fastening systems.

● Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and construction specifications.

● Ensure framing is properly aligned, level, plumb, and securely fastened.

● Install door and window framing, backing, and other required framing components.

● Coordinate framing work with other trades to ensure proper installation and project sequencing.

● Ensure all work complies with safety standards, building codes, and project specifications.

● Collaborate with the construction team to ensure timely project completion.





● Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

● Operate hand tools, power tools, and other equipment as required.

● Inspect completed framing work for accuracy, quality, and structural integrity.

● Identify and resolve framing issues or discrepancies as they arise on site.

Preferred Qualifications

● Proven experience as a Steel Stud Framer or in a similar construction framing position.

● Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.

● Strong knowledge of steel stud and track framing techniques and materials.

● Experience with layout, measuring, cutting, and installation of steel framing systems.

● Proficient in using hand and power tools.

● Knowledge of construction safety practices and building codes.

● Solid attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

● Physical stamina and strength to perform manual construction work.

● Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

● Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and other trades.

● High school diploma or equivalent is an asset.
