The Motor Safety Association is seeking a motivated and professional Safety Consultant based out of Saskatoon to support area members. This role focuses on injury prevention, Safety Management Systems, occupational health and safety compliance, training, and return-to-work support.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, building strong relationships, presenting to groups, and providing practical, solution-focused safety support.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting workplace inspections, noise level testing, ergonomic assessments, and toolbox talks.
Delivering safety training virtually, in classrooms, and onsite.
Performing certification audits and perception surveys.
Supporting employers with safety management systems, safe work practices,
and safety-related inquiries.
Preparing inspection reports, audit documentation, and related records.
Promoting MSA services through member visits, calls, and relationship-building.
Candidates should have OHS education or certification, along with relevant industry experience in automotive, mechanical, manufacturing, processing, service, sales, agriculture, or similar sectors.
The successful candidate will be professional, organized, coachable, member-focused, comfortable speaking to groups, and able to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team workplace.
