municipal and YMCA policies and procedures.Be committed to diversity, equity, inclusion and building a sense of belonging.Embrace and exemplify the Y’s core values.Education & Skills QualificationsExperience working with children 4–12 years in a work or school placement setting is an asset.Plans to enroll, or currently pursuing, a diploma in Early Childhood Education, or in pursuit or holds a diploma or a degree in a related field of study is an asset.Early Childhood Education graduates must be registered (or proof that registration is in process) and in good standing in the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE).Graduates in a related field of study must be members of their associations as required.Valid Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification or date of training scheduled within the next three months.
