HSNS is funded by the NS Government to deliver integrated and standardized provincial services across 37 clinical sites, located in 26 communities. Nationally certified Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists, with support from Communication Disorder Technicians and Administrative Support Professionals, provide core services (prevention, diagnosis, and treatment), develop and monitor provincial clinical standards, and collaborate with partners to deliver a number of special programs (e.G., Autism, Stroke, Cochlear Implant). The home base site is Sydney. The successful candidate reports to the assigned Manager. This position supports autistic children and their families. The caseload assignment may include any of the services included within the Provincial Preschool Autism Service (e.G., Intensive Service, Focused Intervention, Early Start Denver Model, QuickStart Nova Scotia, Foundational Education).RequirementsMaster’s Degree in Speech-Language PathologyNova Scotia College of Audiologists & Speech-Language Pathologists (NSCASLP) licensure or eligible for licensureEffective communication skills, including proficiency in written and spoken English.
