This is a hybrid role.This role leads the coordination and delivery of the Foundation’s signature events and special projects to support fundraising and strengthen community engagement. Working closely with the Foundation team, the position supports corporate and community giving initiatives, provides leadership to volunteers, and contributes to the implementation of the Foundation’s fundraising strategy while ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and values.Knowledge, Skills,
and QualificationsRelevant post‑secondary education (professional designation an asset)Minimum of two years’ experience in project management and fundraising.Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communications skills with the ability to engage donors.Excellent organization, initiative, planning and administrative skills with the ability to identify and manage multiple priorities.Excellent project management, event planning and fundraising skills and experience, including promotions strategy, analysis, and reporting on each event.Goal oriented, results driven with a proven ability to meet or exceed fundraising targets.Proficiency in Microsoft Suite required.Database management and electronic communication platforms (data entry, data maintenance, query, and database administration skills)Sound judgment and problem‑solving skills are essential.Ability to work in a team environment, as well as independently.Willingness and ability to occasionally travel locally and regionally.Access to reliable personal transportation and be approved by insurance carrier to drive personal vehicle.Knowledge of and/or experience in the Waterloo Region preferred.Ability to work flexible hours as required.Employment at Family & Children’s Services of the Waterloo Region is conditional upon the verification of credentials and employment, a satisfactory police check, and a satisfactory Child Welfare check.Salary Range$72,763.11 - $92,575.00 per annum (Management & Excluded,
