Act as the leader in the absence of the Executive Chef, calling the line and communicating with Front of House staff.
Assess any needs for preparation work or suppliesprior to service.
Ensure food is received, stored, handled andprepared in a hygienic and Food Safe compliant manner.
Prepare, cook, and plate food to establishedquality and presentation standards.
Participate and/or lead team meetings, and seasonstart and end procedures.
Assist with supervising and training kitchen staff.
Assist with inventory and menu development asneeded.
Maintain effective communication through restaurantand with teammates.
Ensure all cooks maintain a clean and safe workspace at all times.
Plan and develop catering events, wine dinners, andother special functions.
Assist with other duties as assigned.
You Have:
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a foodpreparation role within a professional dining establishment.
Robust leadership skills, consistently ensuringfood and presentation standards are maintained.
A genuine love of, and passion for, food andcooking.
The physical ability to lift up to 30 lbs., performmanual labor, and stand for prolonged periods.
The flexibility to work weekends, evenings, andholidays.




Food Safe or other food handling certification (anasset).
A culinary background, education, or diploma (anasset).
Competitive Wage: $24.07- $27.29 per hour.
