We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Store Supervisor to lead our retail team and ensure the smooth operation of our store. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for retail management, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to team leadership. As a Store Supervisor, you will oversee daily store activities, manage staff, and deliver exceptional customer service to foster a welcoming shopping setting.

Responsibilities

- Supervise daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) transactions
- Lead and motivate team members through effective training, coaching, and performance management
- Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, merchandising, and purchasing to ensure product availability and presentation excellence
- Oversee employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting efforts, and scheduling to build a strong retail team
- Handle customer inquiries with professionalism and resolve issues promptly to enhance customer satisfaction
- Conduct sales management activities such as pricing strategies, promotional campaigns, and sales tracking
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping and payroll records while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures

- Proven experience in supervising retail teams with strong leadership capabilities
- Excellent communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are highly valued
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in retail math, budgeting, cash handling, and inventory management systems
- Skilled in negotiation, purchasing decisions, and marketing strategies to boost sales performance
- Experience with POS systems, cashiering operations, and retail software applications
- Demonstrated ability in training & development programs to enhance team skills and knowledge
- Knowledge of grocery store operations or similar retail environments is advantageous
- Exceptional time management skills with an emphasis on shift management and operational efficiency
- Ability to handle phone etiquette professionally while managing administrative tasks such as bookkeeping and stock control
