Toko Convenience is a new Indonesian specialty grocery and convenience store with a self-serve ramen bar, prepared foods, and coffee. We're looking for a hands-on Store Manager to run the floor, lead a small team, and keep the shop and food area running smoothly. We're opening mid October and looking for someone too start third/fourth week of Sept

Duties

Open/close the store and oversee daily operations (card-only, no cash handling)

Keep the store clean, well-stocked, and well-merchandised

Run the Shopify POS; ensure pricing and tax are accurate

Manage the self-serve ramen, microwave, and coffee area — show customers how to use the equipment safely and keep cook, coffee, and seating areas clean and stocked

Uphold food safety, health, and privacy standards; maintain cleaning routines

Monitor and minimize shrink; report to owners on sales, staffing, and operations

Schedule, train,



and supervise staff; set service and cleanliness standards

Deliver friendly, knowledgeable service and flag stock/customer needs to our administrator

Requirements

2+ years retail or food-service experience, incl. 1+ year supervising

FoodSafe Level 1 (required before starting)

Comfortable with POS/scheduling software and teaching customers hands-on

Reliable, organized, and excellent with people; strong sense of cleanliness

Interest in Indonesian/Asian foods an asset; able to lift 20 kg and stand for long periods

Available weekends and a flexible retail schedule
