Job Description In this full-time position, the qualified candidate will demonstrate the following activities: The Sr.

Program Manager will be responsible for the successful planning and implementation of client projects including the management of all project team resources and deliverables.

Effectively lead and manage multiple medium to large sized projects.

Work with Blue

Skys management team for resource planning and allocation across all projects.

Partner with Program/Project Sponsors to define baseline project objectives, scope, schedule, and budget.

Create, update, and maintain critical documentation related to the project including charters, project plans, timelines, issue/risk logs and budgets.

Communicate project objectives, status, risks, issues, and tasks to project team, sponsors, and other stakeholders.

Anticipate, identify, and address project risks and conflicts.

Manage changes to project scope, schedule and budget utilizing a formal change request process.

Maintain and enhance client relationships with key decision makers.

Provide Project and Program Management across a portfolio of projects for a customer, managing both Blue

Sky and customer resources.

Establish a foundation of the proper tools, techniques and metrics to be used in the management of a portfolio of customer projects.

Provide administrative and resource management for direct reports.

Ability to manage multiple project managers across the portfolio.

Limited travel may be required.





Qualifications Minimum 8 years demonstrated experience in software project management; preferably in a consulting environment.

Current PMI PMP certification preferred.

Superior consulting skills including the ability to identify and assess core business issues and then subsequently propose, communicate, and gain approval for practical and realistic solutions.

Knowledge and experience with various software development and project management methodologies and the ability to tailor them to a variety of corporate environments.

Experience managing projects encompassing the full software development lifecycle; preferable experience managing projects utilizing HCL Commerce software.

Working knowledge of IBMs middleware offerings.

Ability to leverage organizational, time management, and communication skills in order to balance the demands of multiple on-going projects.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Ability to lead and motivate the wide variety of personalities inherent to large project teams.

Ability to negotiate and manage customer expectations including the ability to deliver difficult information tactfully.

Experience delivering specialized PM services including PM Methodology Assessments, PMO Implementation, PPM Software Implementation, and Portfolio Management a plus.

Willingness and ability to refine and develop additional Blue

Sky PM related service offerings.

Willingness to participate in qualified organizations in order to enhance skills, knowledge and networking opportunities.

Proficient in MS Project or other similar PM support application.

Bachelors Degree or higher preferred.
