What you will be doing in the role of Service Engineering:
Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
On-site services including configuration, system installation, start-up services, systemupgradesand preventative maintenance of process automation solutions
Support DCS or PLC code and graphics development
Provide customized training for plant personnel
Provide telephone consultation on process automation problems
Follow through with customer maintenance contract work
Provide troubleshootingexpertiseto resolve process automation problems
Maintainsound working relationships with customer’s personnel in various functional departments, such as; engineering,purchasingand maintenance
Helpmaintainand follow ISO procedures
Maintenance of Lakeside support infrastructure including software/hardware installation of new equipment set-up
Provide a premier level of customer service
Handle all customer complaintsimmediatelyincluding participation in 24 hours emergency support rotation
Promote a team approach within Lakeside Process Controls Ltd.
Knowledge and skillsrequiredfor the role:
Engineering or Technologist degree in Chemical, Electrical, or related discipline
Knowledge of Foxboro, ABB, Allen Bradley or similar automation systems
Previousexperience with process control system implementation
Control, protection or shutdown system configuration or support experience
Experience with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office including Excel isrequired
Exposure to the process industry including Chemical and Specialty Chemical, Pulp and Paper, Refining, Power,Cogeneration(Power &Steam; production), Pharma and Biotech, Food and Beverage
Knowledge of process control,reliabilityand instrumentation
Strong oral and written communication skills, report writing
Training and presentation skills
