The Opportunity As a Shift Lead - Server , you’ll take ownership of the floor and help ensure every service runs smoothly from start to finish. You’ll be a key point of contact for the team, keeping service standards high, supporting your fellow servers, and finding solutions when things don’t go to plan.
This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who knows what great service looks like and is confident stepping up when the pressure is on.

What You’ll Do Take ownership of the floor and ensure smooth sailing throughout every service
Lead by example, keeping the team motivated, engaged, and accountable
Support servers with questions, challenges, and service recovery
Find practical solutions and stay calm under pressure




Help manage reservations and ensure the flow of the restaurant is well coordinated
Support the training and development of servers and support team members
Help create, schedule, and run team trainings
Connect with managers after service to share feedback on people, product, and opportunities for improvement
Foster a fun, supportive, and engaged team culture
Recognize team members for great work and help them understand the impact they have on the business
Ensure clear communication around comps, spills, discounts, and other service issues
Keep the team informed and engaged with Stonesedge programming, events, and promotions
Build strong relationships with locals and other businesses in the community and be a true ambassador for Stonesedge
Help drive an exceptional guest experience and minimize service‑related complaints
What You Bring Minimum 2 years of serving experience
Previous leadership or shift lead experience is an asset
Solid knowledge of restaurant service and guest experience
Confident handling reservations and managing the flow of a busy service
Ability to stay calm, organized, and solution‑focused under pressure
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A natural ability to motivate, coach, and hold others accountable
Wine and cocktail knowledge is an asset
A positive attitude and a genuine passion for hospitality
Someone who takes ownership and isn’t afraid to step in wherever needed
