Summer Law Student (2027)

Sullivan Mahoney LLP is the largest law firm in Niagara, providing a full range of legal services to a diverse client base. We are seeking first and second year law students for our 2027 Summer Student Program. This position provides hands-on experience in a professional legal environment and exposure to a variety of practice areas within the firm.

Responsibilities

- Conduct legal research and analysis
- Assist lawyers with files across various practice areas
- Attend and make court appearances where appropriate
- Handle small claims files
- Participate in day-to-day legal matters and client work
- Gain practical experience within a busy law firm environment

Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited law school
- Completion of first or second year of law school by Summer 2027
- Solid legal research, analytical, and writing skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team





Position Details:
- Location: St. Catharines, Ontario
- Job Type: Contract
- Term: May 2027 to mid-August 2027 (approximately 14-16 weeks)
- Work Location: In-person
