Mikko Café is looking for a Shift Supervisor to join our crew!

We're not looking for someone who just wants to stand behind the counter. We’re looking for someone who wants to lead, have fun, take initiative, and help create the kind of café experience people want to come back to.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

As a Shift Supervisor, you'll be the go-to person on the floor during your shift.

You'll help keep the team organized, make sure customers are taken care of, and jump in wherever you're needed.

Lead the crew

- Be the go-to person for the team during your shift.
- Keep everyone organized and make sure the shift runs smoothly.
- Delegate tasks and help the team stay on track.
- Lead by example with a positive attitude and great customer service.
- Help train and support team members.
- Communicate important information to management.

Keep the café running
- Oversee daily café operations during your shift.
- Jump behind the bar and help serve customers when things get busy.
- Prepare coffee, specialty drinks, and food according to Mikko standards.
- Make sure the café is clean, stocked, and ready for service.
- Handle opening and closing procedures.
- Keep an eye on what needs to be done and take initiative without always being asked.

Make customers feel welcome
- Create a warm and memorable experience for every customer.
- Know how to handle questions and concerns with professionalism.
- Turn a not-so-great customer experience into a great one.
- Set the standard for the level of service we want at Mikko.

Be on top of the details
- Handle and supervise cash transactions.
- Follow cash-handling procedures.




- Make sure food safety and sanitation standards are followed.
- Report equipment, safety, or operational issues to management.

Schedule: full-time

Work location: In person

Availability: Weekdays and weekends as required.
