Job Title: Supply Chain Supervisor

Location: Chilliwack, BC

Job Summary: The Supply Chain Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of the company's supply chain, from procurement to delivery, ensuring smooth operations and optimal efficiency. This role involves supervising a team, ensuring that products are sourced, stored, and delivered efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and timeliness.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervision and Coordination:
- Oversee teams involved in procurement, inventory management, warehousing, logistics and transportation.
- Lead, train, and develop team members, providing them with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Provide guidance, set goals, and evaluate team performance, offering feedback and coaching as needed.
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performance work environment.
- Procurement and Supplier Management:
- Oversee the procurement of raw materials, products, or services required for the company’s operations.
- Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely deliveries, quality standards, and cost-effective pricing.
- Monitor supplier performance and address and resolve issues related to supply chain disruptions, or delays in the supply chain.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to optimize costs and improve efficiency.
- Inventory Management:
- Ensure proper inventory levels are maintained, optimizing stock to meet demand while minimizing excess inventory.
- Oversee inventory tracking systems, conducting regular stock audits and ensuring accuracy.
- Manage storage and distribution,



ensuring that products are properly stored and handled to minimize damage or loss.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure effective inventory flow and efficient stock replenishment.
- Logistics and Distribution:
- Coordinate the transportation and delivery of goods, ensuring timely and cost-effective shipments.
- Work with logistics partners to optimize shipping routes and delivery times.
- Oversee the coordination of inbound and outbound shipments to ensure on-time delivery to customers or other departments.
- Process Optimization and Efficiency:
- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline operations and reduce costs.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply chain efficiency, cost, and service levels.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and quality across all supply chain functions.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Collect, analyze, and report on supply chain metrics to assess performance, identify areas for improvement, and track progress.
- Prepare and submit reports for management on inventory levels, procurement status, and logistics performance.
- Utilize supply chain software and tools to monitor and manage workflows.
- Compliance and Risk Management:




- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures , and industry regulations.
- Identify and implement improvements to streamline supply chain processes, reduce costs and enhance efficiency.
- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for audits and legal purposes.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or related fields, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, inventory management, procurement, and logistics.
- Experience with supply chain software and systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a rapid-paced environment.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards in the supply chain industry.
