Charles Department: Radiation Therapy Union: CUPE CS Hiring Status: Permanent Anticipated Start Date: October 1,2026 FTE: 1.0 Anticipated Shift: Days/Modified Days Daily Hours Worked: 7.75 Annual Base Hours: 2015 Hourly Salary: $ 23.577, $24.271, $24.984, $25.718, $26.477, $27.258, $28.062 Job Summary: Under the supervision of the Clinical Resource Therapist, the Nursing Assistant, Radiation Therapy (RT) is responsible for the efficient provision of reception and clerical support and assigned patient tasks for the Radiation Therapy Department.

Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, the Nursing Assistant, (RT) contributes to the care and comfort of patients, communication with patient family members as well as routine cleanliness of Radiation Therapy area.

The position involves physical activity such as lifting and transporting patients, samples and equipment.

Patient confidentiality is to be maintained at all times according to Cancer

Care Manitoba (CCMB) policy and Personal Health Information Act (PHIA).

Qualifications: Education Health Unit Clerk and Health Care Aide Certificates,



or equivalent (ie.

Nursing Assistant Certificate) Experience Current experience in unit clerk and health care aid or related professional health care field.

Skills and Abilities Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, customer service and problem-solving skills.

Ability to adapt to stressful situations.

Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team setting.

Excellent computer skills.

Required Licenses, Registrations, Designations Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Other Must have satisfactory employment record Must be legally able to work in Canada Ability to speak French Interested and qualified applicants are invited to submit a detailed and current resume, plus a cover letter demonstrating how you meet the above qualifications and the above competition number.
