Our client, a leading manufacturer of metal processing for a variety of Industries, including Construction and Automotive to name a few, located in the

Windsor area is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineering Manager. T he Manufacturing Engineering Manager is responsible for overseeing manufacturing andprocess engineering, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to achieve production,quality, and budget goals.

This role involves managing engineering teams, fosteringcollaboration, and implementing innovative solutions to enhance productivity, quality, andoperational efficiency within the plant.

Key Responsibilities: Manufacturing and Process Engineering Collaborate with Program Managers to ensure product launches, including equipment andtooling planning, floor layout, lean manufacturing implementation and initial productionplanning.

Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing processes to optimize productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.

Lead the development and implementation of innovative manufacturing techniques to improve efficiency, quality and reduce cost Collaborate with the Production Team to lead continuous improvement initiatives, including: Reducing headcount and manufacturing overhead; Implementing lean manufacturing solutions, such as automation and processflexibility; decreasing scrap rates and improving first-time quality.

Escalation Management Act as the primary point of contact for resolving critical internal and external escalations.

Develop actionable solutions for ''red issues'' and communicate plans effectively to executive management.

Equipment and Technology Oversee the selection, acquisition, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment tosupport operational goals.

Make technical decisions regarding equipment purchases and ensure minimal downtime through effective maintenance planning.





Continuous Improvement Partner with the Quality Assurance team to ensure manufacturing processes meet orexceed industry standards and customer specifications.

Apply lean manufacturing principles to eliminate waste, reduce variability, and drivesustainable improvements.

Reporting Structure Reports directly to the Plant Manager. KPIs: (Illustrative) Downtime Percentage Equipment MTBF, MTTR Cycle Time: Improved throughput and efficiency.

Cost Savings: Annual cost reduction and efficiency improvements Qualifications: Bachelor''s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related field. 10+ years of manufacturing engineering experience, ideally in automotive.

Experienced in working with IATF16949 / ISO14001/ISO45001 Proficient in GD&T; and understanding blueprints Deep knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and technologies.

Proficient in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.

Experience manufacturing powertrain and transmission components.

Experience with mechanical subsystems.

Experience with CNC machining is required Experience with metal forming, heat treatment is a requirement Experience with Aluminum Die Cast process is an asset Open to travel for site support or technology evaluations.(10% travel - including International) Adaptable to resolve urgent production issues or meet deadlines after hours.
