There are only a handful of companies pushing the limits of BEV mining technology, and their Advanced Engineering team in the Vancouver area are on the forefront of this technology.They currently have an opening for aRegulatory and Compliance Engineer, who will lead and advise our client on how safety and regulatory compliance are addressed in their products. You will be trained to become part of a team that develops the mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and firmware systems for Battery Electric technologies.Responsibilities will include scrupulous research of standards and patents relevant to the BEV industry; all the while, working closely with the engineers, software developers and purchasers to ensure their work complies with the appropriate industry standards.RequirementsStrong awareness of, and appreciation for,



hazard-based engineering principlesCertification or special training in regulatory or product safety evaluationExperience with product certification/testing/validationGood knowledge of ISO/UL/CSA/CE standardsMeticulous attention to detailStrong desire and ability to learnA NEED to know the answer through thorough investigation and scrutiny.
