This role handles a variety of revenue accounting functions, including lease analysis, revenue analysis, tenant accounts receivable reviews, and also processes year‑end billings.ResponsibilitiesMaintain floor, unit, lease and detailed square‑footage inventory on automated property management systems (Yardi‑7S)Detailed review of recent lease and lease renewal information and entry of information into property management systemsReview property rent roll to process monthly rental billings to tenantsProcess tenant miscellaneous billings and rental adjustments as requiredReview and process monthly straight‑line rent, bad debt accrual, and gross potential rent entriesMaintain retail tenants’ percentage rent information on a monthly basisPrepare reconciliation of outstanding tenant receivables and provide statements of accountProcess year‑end billing increases to tenant operating and property tax recoveriesPrepare year‑end recovery invoices to tenantsPrepare monthly revenue variancesOther duties as assigned including preparation of revenue collection and variance reportsQualifications0‑3 years of experience ideally in real estate property accountingPost‑secondary college degree in accounting programCurrent enrolment in a professional accounting program, CPAThis position requires property accounting/administration experienceComputer proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management accounting systemsThe incumbent must be self‑motivated and work well in a team environmentThe base salary for this position is between $50,100.00 to $75,100.00 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.E. annual bonus, commission etc).
