Job Description Position Overview: Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the
Maintenance Technician (electromechanic) plays a key role in ensuring the proper functioning of our production equipment.
Theirexpertisein troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair is essential to guaranteeoptimalperformance and efficiency across our operations.
Key responsibilities: Perform production start-ups, calibrations, and quality checks to ensure smooth operations.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Replace and adjust components such as bearings, belts, valves, and sensors.
Conduct preventive maintenance and document interventions in GAMO.
Support installation and commissioning of new equipment andparticipatein improvement projects.
Troubleshoot automated systems and recommend solutions to minimize downtime.
Ensure compliance with health and safety standards,identifyhazards, and report incidents promptly.
Maintain tools, equipment, and work area in positive condition.
Qualifications Qualifications: Diploma of Vocational Studies in electromechanics, automated systems, or industrial mechanics. 5 to 7 years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing company.
Strong technical knowledge in welding, assembly, troubleshooting automated systems, and interpreting electrical diagrams.
Proficiencyin MS Office (Excel, Word, Power
Point, Outlook, Teams).
Solid understanding of workplace health and safety practices, WHMIS regulations, and preventive maintenance programs.
