Job Summary

Duties

- Prepare and cook a variety of tandoor-based dishes, including bread, meats, vegetables, and specialty items, following established recipes and presentation standards
- Operate and maintain tandoor ovens safely and efficiently, ensuring proper temperature control and cleanliness
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as marinating, seasoning, and portioning ingredients to ensure timely meal service
- Ensure all food handling practices adhere to food safety regulations and sanitation standards
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation, maintain workflow, and uphold quality consistency
- Serve dishes promptly to ensure optimal freshness and presentation for guests
- Maintain a clean and organized work station,



including cleaning equipment and utensils regularly

Requirements

- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant kitchen roles, preferably with experience in Indian cuisine or tandoor cooking
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to operate tandoor ovens safely and efficiently
- Strong understanding of meal preparation processes within the food industry
- Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable
- Ability to work in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards
