Teacher – Math & English (Elementary & Secondary)

Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated teachers to deliver academic enrichment programs in Math and English for students grade JK - high school. Ideal candidates are passionate about helping children succeed and comfortable teaching across elementary, intermediate and secondary levels.

Responsibilities

- Teach Math and English (reading & writing strategies) in small groups (1:5 ratio).
- Deliver lessons using provided curriculum and answer keys—no prep required.
- Track student progress and share feedback with parents and center administrators.
- Create a positive, engaging learning setting that encourages participation.
- Assess student understanding through activities, assignments, and observations.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and center staff.
- Maintain strong classroom organization and time‑management.

Requirements





- Classroom or tutoring experience teaching elementary or secondary students.
- Ability to teach both Math and English.
- Strong communication skills; patient, encouraging, and student‑focused.
- Experience working with children in educational settings.
- Excellent organization and time‑management skills.
- Bilingual English/French is an asset.
- OCT certification (including interim/temporary) is an asset.

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
