Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Team Lead for Specimen Processing and Client Services to oversee daily laboratory operations and ensure exceptional client support. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, laboratory experience, and a passion for maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency. This role involves managing specimen processing workflows, supporting data collection and analysis, and fostering a team-oriented team environment to deliver outstanding service to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate specimen processing activities to ensure timely and accurate handling of laboratory samples.
- Supervise a team of laboratory technicians and client service staff, providing training, mentorship, and performance feedback.
- Oversee data collection procedures, ensuring integrity, consistency, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with laboratory management to optimize workflow processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Support analysis of laboratory data to identify trends, discrepancies,
or areas for process improvement.
- Maintain adherence to safety protocols, quality assurance standards, and laboratory regulations at all times.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for client inquiries, resolving issues promptly while maintaining excellent customer relations.
Skills
- Proven experience in laboratory settings with a focus on specimen processing or related functions.
- Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret data accurately and identify actionable insights.
- Excellent leadership capabilities with experience managing teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in data collection methods and familiarity with laboratory information systems is preferred.
- Laboratory experience combined with organizational skills necessary to oversee multiple tasks efficiently.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate across departments and engage with clients professionally.
- Knowledge of safety standards, quality control procedures, and compliance requirements within a laboratory environment.
