Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Team Leader to join our operations team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily team activities, ensure effective workflow, and foster a positive environment that promotes productivity and collaboration. Responsibilities

- Lead and motivate a team to achieve operational goals while maintaining high levels of quality and safety standards
- Coordinate daily tasks related to transportation management systems, shipping & receiving, and freight handling
- Monitor and improve processes within supply chain operations, including 3PL partnerships and warehouse activities
- Utilize systems such as AS400 and SyteLine for data entry, inventory tracking, and reporting to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Provide training and guidance on communication skills, phone etiquette, multi-line phone systems, and data entry procedures
- Conduct analysis of operational data to identify trends, resolve issues, and implement process improvements
- Oversee shipping schedules, freight documentation,



and coordination with carriers to optimize delivery timelines

Requirements

- Proven experience with transportation management systems, supply chain operations, or logistics leadership roles
- Strong understanding of freight processes, shipping & receiving procedures, and warehouse management
- Familiarity with systems such as AS400 and SyteLine for inventory control and data analysis
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively lead teams via phone etiquette and interpersonal interactions
- Proficiency in data entry, typing accuracy, and multi-line phone systems for seamless communication
- Strong analysis skills to interpret operational data and recommend improvements
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
