We are looking for a detail-oriented Technical Designer to join our production and design team.

Summary The Technical Designer will bridge the gap between creative design and garment manufacturing.

You will own the technical specification process and lead fitting sessions to ensure our ladies' collections meet our high standards for construction, quality, and fit.

Key Responsibilities

- Tech Packs & Specs: Create, update, and manage detailed technical packages, measurement specification sheets, and construction details for assigned ladies' styles.
- Garment Fitting: Prepare fit samples and actively participate in live fit sessions on models.Evaluate fit, proportion, and balance.
- Fit Comments: Write clear, concise, and detailed fit comments supported by digital photos and annotations to communicate corrections to domestic and international vendors.
- Sample Review: Measure incoming prototype, first,



and pre-production samples to verify they match approved specifications and design intent.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with the design team, production coordinators, and external factories to resolve construction or grading issues in a timely manner.
- Deadline Management: Maintain an organized log of samples and ensure all technical milestones are met according to the seasonal production calendar.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Experience: 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in technical design, apparel fit, or garment production (ladies' wear experience is a strong asset).
- Education: College diploma or degree in Fashion Design, Technical Design, or a related field.Technical
- Skills: Solid knowledge of garment construction, patternmaking principles, and grading rules.Software Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Soft Skills: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
