Technical Program Manager / Technical Program Lead (Banking & FinTech)

About The Role

Hirematic Talent Solutions is hiring an experienced Technical Program Manager / Technical Program Lead to lead large-scale banking and financial technology initiatives for a leading financial services client.

This is a technical delivery leadership role focused on financial infrastructure, enterprise integrations, core banking platforms, deposits, treasury/cash management, APIs, cloud technologies, and payment platforms.

We are looking for someone who can bridge business strategy, architecture, engineering, operations, security, compliance, and executive stakeholders while driving complex modernization and integration programs.

Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end delivery of complex banking and fintech technology programs across multiple workstreams.
- Drive enterprise integration initiatives involving APIs, cloud services, payment platforms, deposit products, and core banking systems.
- Coordinate Product, Engineering, Architecture, Operations, Security, Compliance, and vendor teams.
- Manage delivery plans, milestones, dependencies, RAID logs, executive dashboards, and release schedules.
- Facilitate technical architecture and design discussions while removing delivery blockers.
- Oversee production readiness, deployment planning, post-production support, and issue resolution.
- Ensure solutions meet regulatory, operational, security, and business requirements.
- Communicate risks, decisions, milestones,



and program status to senior technology and business leadership.

Required Qualifications

- 8 15 years of experience in Technical Program Management or Technical Delivery.
- 5+ years of experience in Banking, FinTech, Payments, Treasury, Cash Management, or Financial Services.
- Strong experience leading enterprise integration and platform modernization initiatives.
- Hands-on end-to-end API integration experience is mandatory.
- Experience with deposits, treasury/cash management, core banking platforms, payment platforms, or financial institution integrations.
- Strong knowledge of AWS cloud, microservices, distributed systems, and data integration.
- Excellent stakeholder management, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with deposit networks and insured deposit products.
- Experience with digital assets or stablecoin initiatives.
- Experience with treasury management systems and modern core banking platforms.
- Experience leading M&A; or acquisition integration programs.
- PMP, PgMP, Agile, Scrum, or Protected certification is a plus.

Ideal Candidate We're looking for a hands-on Technical Delivery Leader with deep banking and financial infrastructure experience not a traditional Project Manager focused only on Jira, RAID logs, or status reporting.

The ideal candidate has delivered complex banking integration programs involving APIs, deposits, treasury platforms, payment ecosystems, cloud-native technologies, and enterprise financial systems while working closely with architects and engineering teams.

Compensation

- Canada: CAD $55 60/hour (T4)
