Job Title: Technical Program Manager / Technical Program Lead Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid) / Berkeley Heights, NJ (Onsite)
Experience: 8 15 years
Education: Bachelor s or Master s degree
Role Summary We are seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager / Technical Program Lead to drive complex financial technology and enterprise integration initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong banking/fintech experience and the ability to bridge business strategy, architecture, engineering, operations, and executive stakeholders.
This role will focus on deposit products, core banking platforms, APIs, data integrations, cloud technologies, payment platforms, and regulated financial services.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of complex technology and integration initiatives across multiple workstreams.
- Establish program governance, delivery plans, RAID logs, dependency management, and executive reporting.
- Coordinate Product, Engineering, Architecture, Operations, Security, Compliance, and vendor teams.
- Drive technical delivery involving core banking platforms, APIs, trust systems, deposit networks, payment platforms, and external partners.
- Manage API, data, cloud, and operational integration workstreams.
- Facilitate technical design and architecture discussions and remove delivery blockers.
- Manage project plans, release schedules, milestones, resources, and executive dashboards.
- Ensure solutions align with security, regulatory, operational, and business requirements.
- Drive production readiness, deployment, post-launch support, and issue resolution.
- Communicate program status, risks, decisions, and milestones to senior leadership.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in technology program management or technical delivery.
- 5+ years of experience in banking, fintech, payments, cash management, or financial services.
- Solid experience with enterprise integration and platform modernization initiatives.
- Hands-on experience with end-to-end API integration is required.
- Experience with deposits, treasury/cash management, core banking, or payment platforms.
- Experience with digital assets and stablecoin initiatives is preferred.
- Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, preferably AWS.
- Knowledge of microservices, distributed systems, data integration, and reconciliation processes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with banking products, deposit networks, treasury management, and financial institution integrations.
- Experience with digital assets or stablecoin.
- Experience with M&A; or acquisition integration programs.
- Experience with modern banking core platforms.
- PMP, PgMP, Agile, Scrum, or SAFe certification.
