Elevate care standards at The Village of Glendale Crossing as a full-time Kinesiologist and PAL Coordinator. Lead innovative elderly exercise programs in a collaborative team setting located in London, Ontario.
This role expects to commence in Fall 2026. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Kinesiology and have expertise in psychomotor behavior. Responsibilities include designing unique exercise routines, overseeing transfer assessments, and leading educational training for staff and residents.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and implement innovative cognitive exercise programs • Work alongside physiotherapists and occupational therapists • Manage and support Kinesiology student placements • Facilitate educational sessions on lift & transfer methods • Collaborate with external partners to enhance resident services
Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with a rehabilitation focus • Registration with the College of Kinesiologists is an asset • Experience or desire to work with seniors in care • Familiarity with policies and best practices in Kinesiology • Compassionate approach towards residents and team members
