Job SummaryReporting to the National Logistics Manager, the Logistics Planner ensures the correct mix of resources (driver, equipment) for the efficient delivery of product, maximizing assets, while minimizing distribution costs.Posting InformationPosted on: 6/2/2026 — Apply before: 8/2/2026.ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you’d be closely monitoring and analyzing customer usage to make sure we’re planning deliveries in the most efficient way possible.You’d regularly review and adjust delivery routes and schedules to ensure everything aligns with customer needs and expectations.Communication is a big part of the job—you’d be working with drivers, suppliers, sales teams, plant staff, and garages to keep everything running smoothly and resolve issues quickly.You’d also be responsible for keeping our logistics system up to date, making sure all trip execution data is accurate and current.We’d rely on you to look at how we’re using our assets and managing distribution costs, and make adjustments to keep things as efficient as possible.A key part of the role is planning “just-in-time” deliveries, so you’d need to be mindful of regulations, driver hours, equipment availability, and product supply when building schedules.You’d also help manage plant inventory—making sure product is moved where it’s needed most while keeping costs down.QualificationsFor this role, we’re ideally looking for someone with a degree or diploma in logistics, production planning, or something similar—or equivalent hands‑on experience.You’d bring about 3 to 5 years of experience in a logistics or related environment, so you’re already comfortable working in a rapid‑paced, operational setting.This position does require French proficiency,
since you’ll be working with clients and teams where bilingual communication is important.It’s a plus if you have knowledge of transportation regulations and equipment, but we can help build that if needed.From a skills perspective, strong customer service and communication are key—you’ll be working with a lot of different stakeholders.We’re looking for someone who can problem‑solve using data and available tools, and who can stay focused and responsive, even when things get busy.You should be comfortable prioritizing tasks, multitasking, and paying close attention to details, while staying results‑oriented.Overall, success in this role comes from being adaptable—someone who can quickly learn new systems, adjust to change, and always keep safety and client confidentiality top of mind.BenefitsA paid hourly wage of $35.87.Linde Canada Inc. is committed to providing accommodations for people with disabilities.
