We’re looking for an Irrigation Technician to keep our landscape sites watered, dialed-in, and thriving. Pay: $26–$34/hour (based on experience). Start immediately.What you’ll doDiagnose and repair landscape irrigation systems (sprinkler heads, rotors, drip lines, valves, solenoids, swing joints, leaks).Program and fine-tune controllers (seasonal adjustments, run times, sensors) to keep plants healthy while reducing waste.Perform spring start-ups: pressurize systems, check zones, adjust coverage, repair winter damage.Handle fall shutdowns/winterizations (blowouts where appropriate), protect vulnerable components, and leave sites ready for freeze season.Troubleshoot wiring, locate faults, and make clean, weatherproof connections.Confirm coverage and precipitation needs across turf, shrubs, beds, and new plantings (no "mystery dry spots").Keep tidy service notes, parts used, and recommendations for upgrades.Work alongside our landscape crews so irrigation and planting plans actually get along.Core competencies we’re looking forTroubleshooting mindset: you test, isolate, and fix—no part-swapping roulette.Water management: you balance plant health, site conditions, and efficiency.Quality workmanship: clean cuts, correct fittings, good glue/primer habits, and leak-free connections.Safety-first: you dig smart, mark/avoid utilities, and work carefully around water + electricity.Customer/site communication: you explain issues in plain language and keep the crew/site lead in the loop.Ownership: you show up, finish strong,



and leave the site better than you found it.Skills & must-havesExperience installing and servicing landscape irrigation (spray/rotor/drip), including leak repairs and zone troubleshooting.Comfort with PVC and poly pipe repair/installation, fittings, clamps, and basic hydraulics (pressure/flow awareness).Ability to program and troubleshoot common irrigation controllers and field wiring.Ability to read basic site layouts and mark/verify head spacing and coverage.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to get to the yard/site.Physically able to work outdoors, lift typical irrigation materials, kneel/dig/trench as needed, and handle changing weather.Professional, respectful attitude on residential and commercial sites.Nice-to-havesBackflow prevention familiarity (and/or experience coordinating certified testing where required).Experience with smart controllers, rain/freeze sensors, flow sensors, or soil moisture sensors.Comfort operating small equipment (trencher, plate compactor, mini-excavator) and doing clean restoration (sod/bed repair).Landscape knowledge: turf care basics, plant water needs, soil types, and slope/drainage awareness.Any irrigation-related training/certifications.What we offer$26–$34/hour (depending on experience and skill level).Steady work with a crew that takes pride in clean installs and smart repairs.Good equipment, organized parts, and realistic schedules (because nobody likes "panic irrigation").Variety: residential + commercial landscapes, recent installs, upgrades, and service calls.ApplySend your resume (or a short note about your irrigation experience) and your availability to start.
