Senior Project Manager Clinical Workflow & Documentation Client: Ontario Health Location: 525 University Avenue, Toronto, ON Work Model: Hybrid up to 3 days onsite, subject to Hiring Manager discretion Role Overview Ontario Health is seeking a Senior Project Manager, Clinical Workflow & Documentation to support the Patients Before Paperwork (Pb4P) Program and large-scale provincial digital health initiatives.
The successful candidate will lead complex projects focused on clinical workflow modernization, documentation efficiency, digital health transformation, clinician experience, and change adoption .
The role will work closely with clinical leaders, physicians, product teams, healthcare organizations, vendors, and other provincial partners.
Key Responsibilities Lead complex healthcare projects from planning through implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement.
Coordinate provincial clinical workflow and documentation transformation initiatives.
Manage project governance, risks, issues, dependencies, timelines, and external partnerships.
Develop and execute stakeholder engagement and change management strategies.
Drive clinical adoption and sustainable use of digital health solutions.
Facilitate workshops, co-design sessions, and discussions with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders.
Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce administrative burden, and improve clinical documentation.
Develop performance measurement and benefits realization frameworks.
Provide regular project updates, recommendations, and outcomes to senior leadership.
Ensure projects are delivered effectively and in accordance with organizational standards and methodologies.
Support knowledge transfer and ensure project documentation and deliverables are completed.
Required Qualifications Solid project management experience within a healthcare environment .
Proven experience managing large, complex, high-profile projects .
Strong understanding of clinical workflows, documentation practices, and workflow optimization .
Knowledge of Ontario healthcare systems, primary care, and referral processes .
Experience with digital health, EMRs, clinical documentation, workflow automation, interoperability, or healthcare technology adoption .
Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills across clinical, executive, technical, and external partner groups.
Excellent communication, facilitation, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with change management, clinical engagement, and organizational adoption.
Ability to work effectively across multiple teams, portfolios, regions, and healthcare organizations.
Preferred Public sector / government healthcare experience.
Experience with provincial or enterprise-wide digital health transformation initiatives.
Experience developing benefits realization and performance measurement frameworks.
