This position will be responsible for ensuring a clean and safe environment for staff, volunteers, visitors, and neighbors. You will also be managing the inventory of custodial supplies and assisting in ordering stock. If you are detail oriented, have excellent customer service and strong communication skills, this job is for you!DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIESExemplifies the desired culture and philosophies of Feeding Tampa BayCulinary Duties:Cut, chop, and prepare food for serviceClean and inspect galley equipment, kitchen appliances, and work areasAssist with preparation and serving of foodWash pots, pans, dishes, utensils, and other cooking equipmentMonitor food service operations to ensure all procedures are followedFacilities Duties:Cleans and sanitizes all areas including the dining room, kitchen, restrooms, office spaces, parking lot and building exterior areasUses brooms, mops, and floor equipment to sweep, mop, and scrub floorsClean walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, doors, and sillsCollect and empty trashMaintains inventory of needed supplies and replenishes as neededOrganizes storage of cleaning suppliesFollows all applicable safety rules and proceduresReports all safety and facility issues immediately to Program ManagerAdditional Responsibilities:Understands third-party audit requirements and Feeding America compliance guidelines that pertains to facilitiesProvides assistance to staff, visitors,
