TEMPORARY MATERIAL HANDLERAAR-172DescriptionThe Material Handler reports to the Stores Lead and is responsible for verifying quantity and conformance of materials, preparing records of materials shipped and bill of ladings as well as routing materials to appropriate destinations. The Material handler will also be responsible for performing random parts audits for the customer while meeting quality, cost and time commitments.ResponsibilitiesReceive, sort, store, issue, stage, move dispatch and ship materials, parts, tools, and assemblies throughout the facilityProvide timely updates on significant issues and developments to the aircraft supervisor and stores supervisorEnsure all tasks are prioritized according to the return to service scheduleWorks to maintain a robust relationship with functional support groups to ensure all activity is compliant and conforms to the AMO and Customer GuidelinesKeep detailed reports on all parts in relation to each project in the AMOPerforms escalated expediting when required to ensure on time delivery of materialMitigates risks for short term shortages with internal suppliers to ensure successful customer deliveryActively participate in AAR Aircraft Services Windsor’s Safety Management System (SMS), including reporting safety hazards and incidents encountered in daily operations; understand and promote the company safety policyOther duties as required or directedQualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalentProficiency in Microsoft, Word, Excel,
